The Northern Neck is a peninsula jutting into the Chesapeake Bay with the Potomac River on one side and the Rappahannock River on the other. Explored in 1606 by Capt. John Smith the area was then the home of many Native American Tribes. The scenic setting and bountiful supply of wildlife, fish, oysters and crabs are natural resources that can still be appreciated today.
