The Northern Neck offers many historical and water-related attractions. With the Potomac, Rappahannock and Chesapeake Bay nearby, there are cruises, tours, fishing tournaments and ferries to help you enjoy our water access and colonial heritage. We are only 1 hour's drive from Richmond or Fredericksburg. Theme parks such as Paramount's King Dominion and Busch Gardens are also only an hour's drive from the resort. The Civil War Battlefields of Fredericksburg make a great spot for history buffs to explore. Check with our

Robert E. Lee's ancestral home is about 15 minutes from the resort. Stratford Hall, built in the early 1720s, is one of America's premier 18th century Great Houses. Home to four generations of the Lee leaders of America. The grounds include a 1700 acre working plantation, three miles of nature trails and a grist mill. The fee for tours includes a tour of the grounds and the mill. Enjoy lunch in the Plantation Dining Room. |
